Hi! I'm Nishita 👋
Psychologist, educator, artist, and the person behind Grasp and Giggle.

about.png

As a child, I loved imagining, drawing, pretending, and making things.

What I didn't love? Boring worksheets and memorising things just because I was supposed to. 😄

Years later, while working with children, I noticed how often screens had become the easiest way to keep little hands busy.

That got me thinking: What if learning could be creative, hands-on, and genuinely exciting?

And so, Grasp & Giggle was born. 💜

What is Grasp & Giggle? 🎨

Grasp & Giggle creates creative experiences that build skills for life.

Through activities, pretend play, posters, and hands-on resources, children get to:

🌈 Imagine: Wonder, pretend & dream up ideas.

🎨 Create: Draw, make, build & experiment.

🌱 Build: Grow confidence, creativity, problem-solving & independence.

The learning is there. We just like to sneak it in through the fun. 😉

And along the way, they'll meet GG! 🐘💜

GG is our curious little elephant and our playful learning buddy. She loves exploring, creating, trying new things, and cheering little learners on. You'll find her popping up across our activities, website, and adventures.

A Few Things I Believe 💜

🌼 Curiosity matters more than getting it "right."
🎨 There is no one right way to create.
🧠 Skills can grow while children are busy having fun.
💛 Childhood deserves plenty of imagination, creativity & giggles.

A little note from me...

Every Grasp & Giggle resource is made with a lot of thought, creativity, and heart.

I hope it gives little hands something exciting to do, curious minds something to wonder about, and parents a few "Oh, this is actually fun!" moments too. 🌼

With love,
Nishita & GG 💜
